Final from Whitesburg.

Hate to see Larkey lose, but it sounds like a very good game. About what I figured, not a lot of scoring, but some solid defense. Big win for Letcher. Sets up the regional finals next week, ... as of this post, Whitley & PC were tied at 34 each with 2:00 to go.

Good job. Shout out to my girlfriend's uncle who is principal at Letcher Central. I'm sure he is proud.

Please tell me they went for two, and didn't miss the PAT. I would hate it for the kicker.

Congrats to both teams on a very good game. Both teams have had great seasons and are well coached.

Holder bobbled the snap! Both teams had turnovers, but the Black Bears seemed like they hurt more.

Good Year for the Bears! Go Bears!!!

Good Luck to the Cougars!

Just saw the highlights, looked like a wild game. Congrats to LCC, nice season for Harlan County in their 2nd season.

Watched this game and it was a good one, Harlan County has really improved since their scrimmage game with Corbin at the beginning of the season. Coach Larkey has done a great job this season. Letcher County has a young team and should be good for the next few years.

Harlan County dominated time of possession. LCC had no offensive momentum. Turnovers were crucial. The missed opportunity for extra point came back to haunt HC. Great effort by HC and LCC. Smith #4 for LCC was the defensive player of the game. Taylor #34 and Green #7 had good overall games as well for HC. #24 for HC deserved a better fate than fumbling two straight punts. Great atmosphere for football! HC keep your head up. Will enjoy rivalry for years to come.
