Here's my 6 matchups and games I have not seen.

 

Highlands vs Trinity

 

Bowling Green vs Bell Co.

 

Fort Campbell vs Lone Oak

 

Prestonburg vs Beechwood

 

Lexington Catholic vs Danville

 

Scott Co vs Boyle Co.

 

No X or SK? Two of the top three teams in the state. :confused:

I think a dream weekend for many people would consist of Trinity, St.X and Highlands all losing to schools with "County" in the name. :lol:

It's not about watching the best teams necc, but, what matchups you'd most like to see...

I'd love to see a Henry Clay/Lex Catholic matchup, as well...

With all due respect, down here in Central KY, we aren't overly concerned with watching the top ranked teams in the state. Especially when we kind of feel we watch one every Friday. I am sure there are Boyle County fans who would like to see us play SK and St. X. Quite honestly, I think 6 games we want to see could look like this....

 

in no particular order......

 

 

Boyle County vs. Bell County(obviously)

 

Boyle County vs. Highlands(to be the best you have beat the best)

 

Boyle County vs. Trinity(if the LexCath game was that close....we want some)

 

Boyle County vs. Simon Kenton(Rees vs. Miles...The Mr. Football Bowl)

 

Boyle County vs. St. Xavier(see Highlands)

 

Boyle County vs. Bowling Green(my personal favorite...my new school vs. my old school)

 

but it says dream weekend and while it'd be a dream to see these games it would take 6 weekends, not 1.

For the folks from Nothern Campbell County, if NewCath makes the 2A game, it will be an awesome Friday, as Highlands plays right after them.

Wouldn't in be great for you if you had a finals like this:

 

1a Beechwood

2a NCC

4a Holmes

5a Highlands

6a Ryle or SKenton

 

That would pretty much be as good as it could get for you folks in NKy..
