I am with you, Boise only played one ranked team :idunno: So did you all just skip the part where I said BCS teams? Boise isn't in a BCS conference. They get a pass for their conference games b/c they can't help that. UC has a better OOC schedule than Texas and the B12 isn't very good this year. The Big East also isn't that good, but it is probably comparable. Therefore UC's schedule IMO is better.
November 12, 200916 yr Easy, let's not bring out the facts here :lol:. If Bama wasn't going to get a shot at playing in the title they would have a gripe, IMO. But, TCU, Boise, UC haven't played a schedule that justifies them jumping UF or Texas. :thumb: They shouldn't have to jump them. Just b/c people ranked them at the top in the summer of this year doesn't mean they're better. I think the 3 teams at the top of the BCS rankings would all beat UC. That doesn't mean to me however that anything they've done this year is better than what UC has done.

You said out of the top 6-8 teams. If we are going by BCS teams, not many have a gripe. I guess Georgia Tech could potentially have a gripe at the end of the year, but the game they lost they were limited to less than 100 yards rushing, and Dwyer had about 6 yards. Who is getting passed over that shouldn't? Bama, Texas, UF would all be undefeated against UC's schedule, and would have a larger margin of victory. I don't see UConn scoring that many on any of those teams. They play a decent schedule, but it's not like it's just world beaters either.

One simple rule change saying you can't compete for the National Title if you don't play at least 2 OOC BCS teams would be a good rule. It would hurt Utah, TCU, and Boise for sure but it would stop teams from ducking decent teams and give us at least some idea of who might be good.

The Texas' and UF's of the world would never go for that though. It would be a good rule. I think you should at least have to play one road game in the OOC or have a limit to how many home games you can have. That would end the whole economics debate that the bigger schools use.
