The girls Championship game will be played @ Toyota Stadium on Saturday November 7th @ 8:30.

Congrats to the players, parents, and fans of Daviess County on an outstanding season! You can't hang your head ladies with the wonderful season you had... Nothing wrong at all in making it to the final four!!! Congrats again!!!

Of course the Championship game will brought to you live on NDA Internet Radio and I will post the link when it becomes available.

How many saves did my girl Olivia Voskuhl have?

Reading the updates provided by TOG it does not seem that she had very many. Which can be a good thing.

Maybe one or two at the most as the game sounded very one sided!

BTW is she related to former CovCath Joe?

paNDA when I go.....

I-75 South to the first Georgetown exit then follow the Cincinnati Bengals training camp signs.

The 1st Georgetown exit is right after the Rest Area on I-75 in Scott County, so after you pass it, get in the right lane to exit off that exit.

At the exit, turn right and continue straight on that four lane hwy until you see the sign telling you to turn right into an industrial park area (there is a sign saying Bengal Training Camp).

Do not turn right on that four lane Hwy early to go to the Georgetown Campus or City as you will be going the wrong way, continue straight on that four lane Hwy until you see the Bengal Training Camp sign!

From the Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer

GEORGETOWN — Daviess County High School didn’t leave with a victory in the Girls’ State Soccer Final Four. But the Lady Panthers did depart Toyota Stadium with a deeper respect for No. 1 Notre Dame Academy.

Notre Dame got two rebound goals from Courtney Clark, then played aggressive defense throughout the 80 minutes to log a 2-0 win.

The Pandas (23-3-1) advanced to Saturday’s championship game against the winner of the nightcap between Sacred Heart and Lexington Catholic.

Daviess County’s season ended at 20-4 in front of nearly 500 of its fans who made the trip to Georgetown College.

“They were solid all over the field,” DCHS coach David Sandifer said. “They were very quick, and very aggressive defensively. They’re defense played very physical.”

Where DCHS found space to work in during the regular and postseason, it discovered Panda defenders instead in this game.

“We couldn’t put much together in the middle of the field,” Sandifer said. (Torrie Lang) was an extremely good player for them. She made it tough for anything to happen in the middle.”

The Lady Panthers got few opportunities and weren’t able to get very close on any of them.

Annie Elder had a 35-yard free kick that was gathered in by Notre Dame Academy freshman keeper Olivia Voskuhl. Paige Kramer had a prime opportunity in the 9-yard box in the first half that was stopped by Voskuhl. Elder got another chance in the second half that was stopped.

Offensively, three shots were it for DCHS.

Congrats! Good luck on Saturday.

Maybe one or two at the most as the game sounded very one sided!

BTW is she related to former CovCath Joe?

I asked her Dad and he said distant cousin.
