For some crazy reason I actually got caught up doing work at work and misses out on Rutgers, but played Bama and under and Tulsa and over in the afternoon action.

Got so lucky to go 2-2 that I am laying off the night games!

Did anyone take the Nebraska/Colorado game? If so I sure hope you took Colorado +11 because you got very lucky!

I did one of those 4 team 13 pt teasers

Auburn +23.5

Nebraska +2

Pitt +12

Boise -1

stick1, do you take an extra seven points in every game you bet?

No. I've taken about 10 bucks and turned it into almost $1,000 over the last few months. Mostly taking $10 sometimes $20. If there is a game I like a lot I might go $50-$100. I won $200 from a prop bet for Jimmie Johnson to win it all and the Yankees made some money down the stretch.

The NFL is where I've really hit it big.

I've played the moneylines more or teased more than ever. When you think about it they are so good especially in the NFL that if you tease it's much easier. I've been able to play on others money so it's been easy to tease. I'm a big Cowboys fan but I took Oak +21.5 the yesterday. It was only 2.50-1.00 which is not much for a line that big. Might not be for everybody but I've only lost 1 week this year and am up again this week.

I got to see a great speaker one time. He had a book called Rule #1. It was about investing. It was stuff passed down from Warren Buffet. I thought about it a lot and have some money in stock but that's not my forte. I am a sports nut and have been my whole life. I put money in stock but figured I have a lot better idea what I'm investing in from sports so I applied the #1 rule to gaming. That rule is don't lose money. Easier said than done but I've gotten a lot better about not betting games just because I'm watching them although I do sometimes. I really look for the games I like then I don't get greedy usually. The Bama game today is the most I've bet since last March probably. I decided that as long as I was pulling in 10,20,30 or so a night I was winning not losing. That's how I've built up the pot. Take a 3.5 pt spread like Clemson tomorrow. If you take the moneyline then it's 16.50 to win 10. Not making you rich right away but you are saying that Clemson is going to win and the score doesn't matter like I did with Bama toady. The pot is up enough now that I can start rolling the dice a little. I'm going to the UK game tomorrow. I think Tenn wins so I'll probably go 70-50 and the score doesn't matter. The old me would have taken a bunch more games but this is about the only one I like. I like Clemson a little.

Great post! This is exactly what I am doing this year. I don't like to post my bets on here b/c it seems that everytime I do I end up losing that bet. That being said I apply the same theory that you do. I started on the first Thursday night college game and have built my account up to 840, which is now down to 230 after I got a cash out the other day. I used to bet what the bookies gave me, but we all know that the bookies are too good at what they do. For this reason I started bying points and handicaping my own games. Will it get me rich quick? No, but I most definetly am not losing money.

/\ And for arguments sake here are my bets that I had Friday night.

Pitt/WVU u60.5

ALA +1.5

Boise -1

$50 to win 25

Pitt +9

u 57

$25 to win 14

Boise -4

u 80

$78 to 44

In total I was risking 153 to win 83. Just a little better than 2:1. The numbers might not look good on paper but when I made the bets I knew they were sure bets. And now I have $83 of the houses money to do the same thing today.:thumb:

Going against the theory:

Tenn ml not sure uk can score but gong bowling w them. Win either way. At the game. I like ark but think lsu on sat night is as tough as it gets! Ut and lsu both ml 50 each

Been gone all day shopping, but have called some in and looks like I am about even. Late action (just following others advice), took KY +3, Ark.+3.5 and over in GA/GA TECH 57.

Against my better judgement I'm going to reveal my picks. If they lose this will be the last time I ever post them on here again. Seems everytime I do I lose my rear end.

FSU +34.5

ND +19

50 to win 27

Rice/Hou. u 84

FSU +37.5

ND +22

50 to win 27

UK +15

UK/UT u 61.5 (this one is scaring me)

ND +21

30 to win 16

UK +14

ND +20

USC -3

55 to win 45

Risking 185 to win 115

Another big winner last night. Colts 31-20. Hou is capable but riding the hot hand.

Teased: cincy -7.5 chargers -7.5 and Minn -3.5

I played a boat load of games and as I was calling in the 1 o'clocks, ESPN announced that Warner was likely out, so I dropped a bomb on Vince Young and the fellas.

Hou+3

Philly under 40.5

Buffalo+3.5

Tenn.-2(4 o'clock, but had to get it in at that line)

Sea-3.5 and over 42

Atl.-13

Car.+3 and under 41

I played the Bengals and Ravens in a teaser
