November 6, 200916 yr David WIlliams is to blame. He has set this state back 20 years. How long are we going to allow a guy from a district of 10 people run the state? :thumb: I agree totally 100 %. This man doesn't have a clue. When there is something like gambling that could help the state he puts a stop to it. Iam pretty sure that his district wouldn't even get a casino or even be affected by gambling. Its ridiculous.
November 6, 200916 yr If you’re against casinos because of morality, well you might as well be against everything associated with risk like the stock market or starting a business etc., life is a gamble. If the only association you're making with true gambling and investing in the stock market is that both require risk taking, I'm with you. However, if you or others believe that investing in the stock market is gambling I could not disagree more.

"Kentucky is completely out of step with the states we compete with," Elliston said. The Kentucky horse racing industry competes with 12 states, and before Ohio passed its casino gambling amendment, 11 of those 12 supplemented their racing with casinos.
