I'm not disagreeing with you per se, but what are the criteria you use for that conclusion?

 

Unless they play, it's all opinion based. Based on the past it's a no brainer and these two have faced multiple times this decade and it's been brutal for SK. Last season even though we were in the championship game, I pretty much knew we had no chance, this year I'd say we'd have a puncher's chance. Fact of the matter is Trinity isn't as good as they were in '08 and SK is much better, hopefully we are as good as many predict and if we get the opportunity to play T we shall see.

Still no love for Ryle. They have lost to Highlands and Simon Kenton. #1 and #3 IMO Their are teams ranked ahead of they that they would KILL. Again, JMO.

Jarheade5, no doubt that Ryle is easily in the 15-20 range at worst, probably good enough to be in the top 10. It will be a very interesting game against HHS this week. HHS missed a few opportunities in week 1 against Ryle and they've been playing well. Ryle has apparently added Nichols into their passing game and I think that's a huge plus for them. The next three games they will face a guantlet of good teams, HHS, PRP and then St. Xavier.

I agree with what you say. IMO 3 weeks from now they will be 8 and 4. And all 4 losses with be to teams ranked in the top 3. They play the best to try and become the best. :thumb:

Geez, isn't 13th better than Top 15-20...I think thats showing alot of respect.. Had they played closer to either Highlands or SK, they likely would be Top 10, but, they didn't, hence the rating. I think most teams if not all that are rated higher could play as competitively as Ryle did...I'd be curious to know which teams Ryle would kill that are rated ahead of them?

I'm also curious as to why, if Ryle's so deservant to be higher, BGPs doesn't even have them in there Top 10...I think BGP is usually pretty spot on, moreso than most rating systems, for sure..

When I look at the Freeman rankings. I see a poll that has no home town bias. It takes the facts. The BGP poll is one of the best. But to think their is no home town bias, come on. But I think that is one of the best things about BGP's. We all get the chance to put our two cents worth in. JMO.

Boys, Somerset has some raw talent. They are looking to do some big things this post season.

The one team that I think might be a little overrated is John Hardin. I know they are undefeated but their schedule is not strong at all. Last week they played a tougher opponent but they haven't played any other top quality teams.

I think they're a bit of an unknown, but, they are #2 in the 2nd largest class and have a pretty good history the past few yrs against some better competition and although they haven't played a great schedule, they are undefeated and beaten the schedule they've played pretty handily. Not disagreeing with you, just feel they're ranking is pretty close right now. They could lose in the 1st or 2nd round of the playoffs for all I know or they could make it all the way to BGreen. Neither would surprise me too much...
