The Tomcats make the long trip to Woodford County to face the Yellow Jackets for second place in the district and a home playoff game thoughts.This game will be at 6 PM on Saturday.

Ashland has played uninspired football in the first half of their last two games. If the Tomcats don’t do better, we could easily lose this one. We need to be able to put 4-full quarters of best efforts together by this point in the season.

Graybeard your being way to modest. Let me remind you of a few facts. 1. Ashland took Johnson Central to the last series of downs before failing to score and win the game. 2. Johnson C. destroyed Woodford Co. 3. Ashland handed Montgomery Co. a good whipping. And Woodford just got by them 13-6. I am sure the team will be told a thousand times what is on the line for this game. Don't worry to much about this game. It's making your beard turn even more gray!! Your Tomcats will Take care of business:thumb:.

I appreciate your support of the Tomcats. But, I want to see them play well in the first half and really “take care of business” - not just have an explosive 3rd quarter.

 

If they would start playing complete games with intensity (like they did against Ironton) they can make a strong showing in the play-offs.

:thumb::thumb: to the first half. You are right once again. But don't worry you will only need a good 2-3 qts to do them in. What do you expect in the late season? perfection!! How about 3 out of 4... The CATS will be ok this game. It's the 2nd, 3rd 4th ect. games in the playoffs they will really have to turn it up. They are just saving up. Trust me!!:eek:
