Raceland plays the winner of the Lynn Camp and Berea game which is this Friday in Berea.

 

I was looking at the Berea stats. Looks like they will give you a tough game. Good luck and play like the:taz:

I guess that Lynn Camp just dropped 4 fumbles instead of getting popped hard. I disagree, the Jackets were definitely more aggresive and physical.

 

Not a single fumble was caused from a hard pop! Were they dropped? No! From the film you can only see how one of the fumbles happened the other three you can't tell but I can tell you this they were not from a hard pop..:idunno:

Watched film too and was close to where each occurred. Guess we will have to agree to disagree.

At least one was a stripped ball. No "POP" just a punch and a "DROP". One of Ty's may have been due to a hit. One was not secured and could be attributed to both a hit and player error. Both teams hit very well.

I'll agree to disagree, too, but I do know that there may have been one fumble to tag a "POP DROP", but the others were questionable.

From what I saw at the game, it looked like Williamsburg was more Physical than what Lynn Camp thought they were going to be. Say what you will but all the fumbles happened after the Lynn Camp players were hit.

Not sure if I would feel better if my fumbles were caused by strips and pops or if I just laid it on the ground. I think Wburg was a little more physical because of the nature of the game. LC running the ball allowed for some good hitting at the line and also alot of gang tackling by Wburg. Lots of LC's tackles were downfield after passes or made in open field by 1 defender.

As a fan it was a fun game to watch. Congratulations to Wburg for the win and it's seniors for beating LC all 4 of their years in high school.

I think LC will have a chance to beat Raceland and advance over to Cville for a rematch. However, they had better be ready to play against Berea.

Berea is not a bad football team. #3 is a threat to score every time he touches the ball.

From what I am hearing it looks as if there is a good chance Berea will be forfeiting friday's game due to illness. Remember this is not the gospel just from a very good source.

I would really hate that for Berea having to Forfeit any game at any level is a terrible blow to a teams morale. I hope something can be worked so it can be played.

Can't the game just be rescheduled because of illness?

Actually the game was played Saturday and Williamsburg has an open date this week. Doesn't Raceland have a game with Russell this week?:walk:
