Is there something going on with Highlands kicker? Why was Highlands going for 2 on their first couple of TD's?

Nope... their starting kicker just kicked the XP, and I believe he made the previous one.

 

Apparently, it is very windy there... don't know if that has something to do with it.

The earlier fumble by Collinsworth in the end zone was not a fumble. Both knees were down and had been down for a while.

Well, it sounds like Highlands' defense has really played well, but the offense needs to stop committing personal fouls and costly TOs.

Well, if they play this way against a team like Bowling Green or John Hardin, they will go home with a big "L."

 

What is the deal with the TOs this season? When you have a great defense and good special teams like HHS does, the best thing the offense could do is not turn the ball over.

On the plus side, Towles is having a very good day passing the ball. He has been very accurate so far.

It sounds to me like it is the typical Highlands passing game - throw it up and let the receivers make the plays. The Highlands fans need to start touting those receivers because they make plays every week. I hear a lot of talk about the QB's but it is the receivers that impress me.
