1a playoffs from the east side

I'm not that familiar with the east end of the state in 1a...Could someone who has that knowledge, layout a likely playoff bracket scenario...Who would be playing who and what seedings are most likely? Thanks

These are to two districts that I know the most about as far as playoffs go.

 

If LCA wins the district they will play Berea, if Raceland is second, we will probably play Lynn Camp, Fairview if third will probably play Williamburg, and Paris/Nicholas County will play Campbellsville.

 

Second round would be winners of Raceland/Lynn Camp playing Campbellsville/Paris or Nicholas County, and LCA/Berea playing Fairview/Williamsburge.

I have an idea, but I will have to research it a little, I don't want to give you wrong information.

District 7:

Hazard will win the district, Jenkins will finish 4th. Pineville vs Harlan this Friday should be a barn burner for the 2/3 spots.

 

District 8:

Should finish Pikeville, Allen Central, Paintsville, South Floyd

 

Given Rams comments above, and lets say Harlan beats Pineville this Friday, the playoffs would look like this...

 

Round 1

4 Berea @ 1 LCA

3 Fairview @ 2 Williamsburg

3 Lynn Camp @ 2 Raceland

4 Nicholas @ 1 Campbellsville

 

4 S. Floyd @ 1 Hazard

3 Pineville @ 2 Allen Central

3 Paintsville @ 2 Harlan

4 Jenkins @ 1 Pikeville

I'm not to sure W'Burg beats Fairview, but, I think you're right on the money on everything else.. Considering the winner plays LCA on the road, it probably doesn't matter anyway.. With that final 8, I think you'd have the semi's look like this:

 

Raceland @ LCA

Pikeville @ Hazard

 

then

 

Hazard @ LCA

 

and the winner is.....

And by the way I expect LCA to beat Hazard in the Semi-Finals, and I expect LCA to beat Beechwood/Mayfield in the Finals.

LCA is to tough this year. I think they will roll through the playoffs without an opponent coming within 14 or more points.

Although I did expect them to beat Hazard last year as well.
