October 10, 200916 yr So much for all the haters saying A-Rod will go an his slump. Yankees tie the game up at 3 in the bottom of the ninth with an A-Rod 2 run home run.:dancingpa
October 10, 200916 yr Who would've ever thought? All A-Rod had to do to lost the "Choke-Tober" staus was stop doing the juice!
October 10, 200916 yr How so? They had a double land about a foot fair and called a foul ball. Then ended up with the bases loaded. It's made a big difference.
October 10, 200916 yr The fair/foul call wasn't even close...ump blew that one bad. But hey it set up for a great Yankees win with a Tex walk off in the 11th!!!!
October 10, 200916 yr Double play when Chad Gardner got doubled off was a very bad play by Chad, Yanks were very lucky in several ways. The bad call was just that, I don't know why MLB doesn't use replay, and I hate to see calls like that.

October 10, 200916 yr I've umpired for a long time now and yeah people are right when they say we all miss some, but some of the ones they are missing now are a joke. We all miss some, but c'mon!
October 10, 200916 yr Did you watch the game? Off and on in between listening to the end of the Ashland game. I obviously missed a big part.
