King of Kentucky Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Boys' state tournament tees off today Let me provide everyone with some key links on how to follow the event. I know many of you must already know these, but I figured it would be nice considering not all of us can get down to Bowling Green this week. KHSAA provides live scoring and a list of tee times CoachesAid.com Kentucky will also be providing daily updates, photos and blogs. Here is a preview of the Boys' tournament.

ladiesbballcoach Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Back on and they will not be able to finish today. Last year the girls had the same issues on Tuesday and here is the way it was handled. Which could give you an idea of how the boys will go. Finish as many holes as they can today. Some will only get in 6. Early tomorrow, come back out and pick up where they left off. Somewhere around 1:00 the championship round will start with tee times. They will not be able to finish the championship round on Wednesday and will finish it Thursday morning before the girls' practice rounds are allowed to start on Thursday.
ladiesbballcoach Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Was told they are calling it a day at 6:00 PM CST.
King of Kentucky Posted October 7, 2009 Author Posted October 7, 2009 Forgot to post link on here last night. Here is an article on the first day of the tournament
jahearme Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Round 1 in the books and what a shocker....St. X and Lex. Christian are 1st and 2nd! Here are the tee times for Round 2. http://www.golfstatresults.com//public/tee_times/index.cfm?tournament_id=1775&pagetype=static
King of Kentucky Posted October 7, 2009 Author Posted October 7, 2009 Justin Thomas has birdied four consecutive holes on the front 9 of his second round. He is leading at 4 under. For teams it is a two-horse race - St. X and Lexington Christian. CoachesAid is updating and should have a story up by the morning on the champion.

Obviously this the best source (through KHSAA) right now for live scoring

jahearme Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Here is the full story of what happened this morning Thanks. By the way, #18 is a Par 5, not a Par 4 as stated in the article. Or at least that what it says on all the players' scorecards.
