Yes....THE ULTIMATE!!!! :ylsuper:

I've got news for you pal...

(How many times can you lose your credibility? I've lost mine several times on BGP. I didn't realize it, but people told me I did. I also don't recall ever finding it, but, lo and behold, I'd lose it again some time later.

So, can you really lose credibility? And, if you do, does it just come back randomly, unbeknownst to you, only to be lost again?)

...I quit worrying about my credibility some time ago. It's just too hard to keep up with it.

I wasn't telling you anything, merely asking you what you meant. And from the sound of things, I was dead wrong. And I don't think it's very nice to make fun of somebody with a learning disability. I've had dyxlexcia ym entire life.

That's pretty funny. Well done.

Nobody loses credibility to me b/c we disagree. I am just surprised that anyone could think running over 1 minute of clock and calling a TO is acceptable while only getting in 2 plays.

Well for whatever reason, it almost work, and would have if not for that pesky Ted Ginn Jr. Yes, I'm laying the blame on him.

Well, apparantley, at one time, I had some credibility on here too, but I never knew for the life of me how I got it. I suppose once signing up, each member is dealt a certain percentage of credibility that can be either lost or gained back several times throughout the membership. I don't believe I've ever gained mine back, however, cause I've never lost it again.

My point is they should have still won even w/ the drop. They managed the clock terribly at the end of both halves.

My point is you can't say the mismanaged clock was the reason they lost the game, they still had the chance there and their personnel never came through.

Let me clear up what I thought about Miami's hurry up offense.

I thought it was bad. Again, not so much the running plays, but the lack of urgency and the wasting of a precious timeout to keep from getting a delay of game because you can't get the right play or personnel on the field.

Again, I didn't like the QB sneak on third and one. I think you pass, try to pick up more yardage and keep the clock stopped, using the sneak if you're forced to on fourth down.

But, again, they got a great look and shot at winning the game, but Ginn didn't make the play. And, ultimately that's what you're looking for in that situation. So, regardless of how ugly or poorly executed it was, it didn't cost them the game any more than Ginn's drop or the missed tackles on defense, or Dan Carpenter's missed FG.

However, it's not a fireable offense. My guess is that the Dolphins coaches saw the stat sheet and were trying to figure out how they ended up playing catch-up after controlling the ball for 3/4 of the game and running for over 200 yards and just lost all concept of time and reality.

People miss plays. Players drop passes and miss kicks. Physical errors to me aren't nearly as bad as mental coaching errors. If you run 1:13 off the clock and burn a TO while netting 6 yards on 2 plays needing 85 yards for a TD that is a mental coaching error. He even admitted it. We'll agree to disagree if you don't want to assign any blame to the coach. If he didn't mess up the clock in the 1st half they would have only needed a FG to win the game.

Maybe not a fireable offense, but it was still terrible. I would be shocked if Parcells didn't have a talk w/ him about it. It was really bad and it happened twice in the same game. They dominated a game and lost. Partly b/c of Manning, but to me it was more about bad clock management.

Fair enough. Clock management may have been a factor, but I don't think it was any more important than Manning's great play, the missed tackles on defense and the dropped balls by Ginn. But, there's nothing wrong with disagreeing. :thumb:
