September 12, 200917 yr Yeah over 100 yards offense in the first qaurter isn't very good. Not to mention they have one less possesion offensive because they scored onthe kickoff. Yeah and 45 yards came on an unbelievable catch right? The offense as a whole has not shown that they will be able to consistently move the ball down field all game like Notre Dame has shown so far. I don't even know why we are having to argue this at the moment.
September 12, 200917 yr Author Nobody has it out for ND everyone loves them! Including the guys who vote on the poll standings :lol.
September 12, 200917 yr Author So 45 yards don't count because he made a big play I see what you mean.
September 12, 200917 yr Author ND goes up with the score and will stay ahead the rest of this game more than likely.
September 12, 200917 yr I still believe ND will win this game by 14 or more. But Michigan is looking much better than last year and is on the up. So I'm still happy! They should, ND is the better team and more experienced. But They can win this game if they can get a turnover and slow down the offense.
September 12, 200917 yr So 45 yards don't count because he made a big play I see what you mean. I said I don't think Michigan can stop Notre Dame, and you said doesn't look like Notre Dame can stop them either. My whole point is where has Michigan shown that they are just going to keep doing that all game. I mean yeah that catch was amazing, but its not like their offense has shown that they will just keep moving the ball. I mean you do realize that was on a third and 10. If he doesn't catch that, then they don't have an offensive touchdown today. So once again I maintain what has Michigan done so far that has shown to you that it looks like Notre Dame can't stop them either?
September 12, 200917 yr I didn't say that now did I? However you haven't watch much football if you haven't seen refs overturn calls before even without conclusive evidence. My point is why have that rule there, if they don't always follow it? Oh you are talking about football. My bad, I thought this was the soccer thread. If you think those officials looked at the same thing we saw, you are kidding yourself. I am not talking about what happened in the past, I am talking about what happened on that play. If that's all they see, maybe you should apply to be a review official, you have it down pat.

Well don't you think people who announce games every week, know a little bit how the replay system works. So when they say the refs usually get all the same replays get. Then yeah I tend to think that they probably know a little bit more than you or me at what exactly replays they see.
September 12, 200917 yr Author At that time they were not stopping them the scoreboard showed it. Now they are, as they should they're the better more experienced team.
September 12, 200917 yr At that time they were not stopping them the scoreboard showed it. Now they are, as they should they're the better more experienced team. Hmmm at the time the scoreboard showed one offensive touchdown, and two punts. Which gets back to what I said, it took an unbelievable catch for them to get that offensive touchdown. If he doesn't catch that, then they were punting again. So where does your argument come into play, that Notre Dame had not shown that they could stop Michigan at that time?
September 12, 200917 yr ND is not showing their experience. ALOT of stupid penalties! I give up on this thread, you guys have fun . You are right though Notre Dame is having A LOT of stupid penalties, thats going to help keep Michigan in it. C'mon man where you going, where just now having fun. Were discussing football, who cares if we don't agree on things.:thumb:
September 12, 200917 yr Why can ND NEVER have a strong kicking game? I wouldn't give up on the kicking game yet. He is a true freshman and it was his first field goal in college and it was at the Big House. See don't give up on that kicking game of Notre Dame just yet. :thumb:

I do want to see more of Denard Robinson at QB. He's one of the fastest if not the fastest guy on the field. I really like watching him.
