The Rebels may be for real this year. They have pounded some teams this year.

It was nice to play "D" against a passing team. I think a matchup with Corbin would be much more enticing. Hopefully they can get that done for next year. It would have been a much better matchup this year if the teams would have been reversed, Congratulations to the Rebs and get focused on Mercer Co. in 2 weeks.

I was in the NO NO section, as soon as the game was over I was off to the visitors side!!!

Great win by Boyle and they have a great team.

 

Pikeville didn't want this game and knew what it was going to be going into it, but whoever is in decision making positions need to look past the bowl money and think about the kids for ONCE..... There are consequences for their decisions

 

All of these decisions were made before Coach Howard took over as coach. So Coach and these players had no choice, but to play the hand they were dealt.

Pikeville has a well coached football team that will be hard to beat when they start playing 1a teams. Good luck in all your games!

Well, you certainly don't have to come back. You can stay at home and listen on the radio. Sorry, that we didn't meet your expectations. Not many schools have perfect situations. When we visit another team and things aren't to suit --- we just enjoy the football game and make do. As for the reserved seating . . . I don't think there is supposed to be any during bowls such as this . . . I think the announcer was used to making that announcement for regular season games and did so out of habit. At least, there has never been reserved seating before. Anyway, we apologize for your inconvenience.

Boy, I about got loss getting out of there,got on the wrong road a couple of times,but I finally find 25E and saw the McD's sign and on my way home.I really don't want to go back there again, but I will if Boyle is playing Corbin next season.:ohbrother:

Actually we were asked to move by someone with a ticket in their hand. I just dont think the seating arrangements were thought out very well, we will follow our boys around anywhere to play, however if there are reserved seats to be sold we'd like to know ahead of time where to sit up camp, park, etc...

Before you are so quick to speak you may want to consult your tourism committee and your varsity club as I am fairly sure we the Rebel nation left behind several dollars in your community.

Dinner $45.00 includes the tip

Drinks $ 6.00

Ice Cream $4.00

Program $1.00

Tee Shirts $20.00

Tickets $16.00

Total $92.00

If you subtract the $45.00 dinner then the remaining total($47.00) should have went directly back to your athletic program. If you consider $47.00 an avarage for a family of 2. Then you multiply that by who knows 100 families gets you a total of $4,700 dollars that the Rebel nation left in your program.

That would be a Gross total. Surly everything purchased had a 100% markup.

Thus making the app. grand total about $2,500 donated to your program.

I don't think my expectations are all that high: a place to park and a worry-free place to sit. That's okay; we'll be the visitor's next year, so maybe those seats won't be reserved, or at least be announced that they are. I went and asked the announcer, and he said that he was told to make the big announcement about the seating, "YOU MAY BE ASKED TO MOVE." Guarantee, if you Hounds come to Rebel Stadium you won't be asked to move.
