We've been doing that for about twenty years (it's been that long since mom quit going; honestly, it's so much better!)

You can't forget about the band and the cheerleaders creating excitment!

Awesome student sections make for the best atmospheres. If you have ever seen a CovCath student section then you know what I'm talking about.

That's something we need to work on is the Black Bear Band a lot of times they are non-existent! Of course we only have had 3 home games so far, but I can hardly remember hearing them. I don't like to get caught up in all of this look at me at a football game. There wouldn't be a need for a band or cheerleaders on Friday nights if it wasn't for Football!

 

I don't think we have a big problem with that but I think people have forgotten that Cheerleaders and the Band are out there to help support the Football team, When the team needs a shot it's the band and cheerleaders job to do that!

 

But I agree it's hard to beat hearing the Band tear into a good song, with the crowd chatter and cheerleaders going in the background. That really makes the atmosphere. Lets make that number 10a.
