I flat out don' t understand it. Some teams this weekend played their 1st game while some teams played their last scrimmage and won't start until next week.

 

Also the districts in 6A change basically every year. Then there is a team like Bryan Station that gets moved from 5A to 6A this year, but Corbin has way too many boys to be a 2A school yet they stay in 2A. Also, does anybody have any idea what district plays who this year come the post season? I am just confused, and it seems like there is someone who just wants to tinker with it every year and keeps changing things.

Tennessee allows up to four scrimmages before the season starts.

I assume the #1 seed in District 2 will have a first round bye in the playoffs.

It just seems to me like there is no stability. Every year there are big changes that confuse me. It seems to me there is not much rhyme or reason to a lot of things that are going on.

You have a choice this year of ONE scrimmage and a bye week or TWO scrimmages and no bye...
