Monroe seems to be taking up where they left off last year. IMO Edmonson could be in for a long night of Football.

Look for the falcons to come out of Brownsville with a 2-0 record. Monroe County by 21. Glad to see Coach Petett put Edmonson County back on the schedule after a two year absence. Dating back to the 2000 season, Monroe was 7-0 against Edmonson County outscoring the Wildcats 272-65.

Edmonson County is a solid 3A team and should give Monroe County a good game. I think it might be closer than some expect, but I believe Monroe will come away with the win.

If Monroe plays as well and balanced as they did against Wayne they should roll over the wildcats, IMO...

Edmonson will have a lot of trouble scoring on Monroe's defense. They completely shut down a better Wayne co. team. I agree with Toebud, So happy to see edmonson back on the schedule. At no cost will coach Petett overlook this team because thay are coming off a great season, but Monroe has way to many weapons for this team! I look for a real high score game from Monroe, most coming from the air, but don't underestimate the running game with Kendall and Vickery. No matter this is going to be a great friday night of football...hope to see you there!:ylsuper:

Agree Monroe used air attack against Wayne but look for more of the ground game this week. Edmonson will not be easy but think that Falcons have too many weapons for the wildcats to handle.

I hope that we do continue to throw the ball at least 15-20 times a game, I think it's important for several reasons, one being we have a D1 talent in Neil Wilson and I think it's important to get him several touches and try to get him at or near 1,000 yards on the season. Personally I would like to see some bubble screens or slip screens go his way because those plays have the tempo of a run and Neil is great at getting yards after the catch...
