I didn't see the game, but read that Campbell County dominated Ashland about as thoroughly as possible. They scored on all but 2 possessions, beating Ashland 41-0. They held Ashland scoreless for over 60 plays.

I wonder if what I read is true. Anyone there that can fill in some details?

Honestly, I expected Ashland to be better than this. I know they have good players at the skill positions and have heard that the line was looking good. I realize it was just a scrimmage, but what happened? Is Campbell County a state title contender this year or am I just wrong about Ashland?

If this is true that is suprising. I don't know anything about Campbell but I thought Ashland would score against most anyone.

Where was the game played? Campbell County is always tough in Northern Ky.They could be the real deal this year in NKY 6a.

The game was played at Campbell Co. I missed the first hour of the scrimmage. When I got there it looked like the JV were on the field. Later in the scrimmage the starters went back out and Campbell Co moved down the field almost at will. Ashland had some good plays but couldn't seem to put enough plays together to score. I was told that the first hour was not much different than what I saw in the remaining two hours.

This one was too far away for me to attend this year. Thanks for the reports.

It sounds like Ashland has a lot of work to do.

Congratulations to Campbell Co. - it sounds like you have a good team this year.
