Meeks looks great, everyone else looks horrible.

I guess Meeks is accustomed to playing with no PG and in a terrible offense.

Announcer: "Jodie Meeks stood out. He was without a doubt the best player on the Bucks team tonight."

Jodie Meeks is a class act :ylsuper:, I really wish him well. I wish that he would had stayed at U.K. but I am pulling for him in the NBA. Should Meeks get in a position to get the ball and get it, he will knock it down, he is a pure shooter.

Personally, I'm glad he's gone. This will paive the way for John Wall. Meeks presence would have done nothing but hinder him.

After the game ended, the announcer for tonight's summer league game stated, "Jodie Meeks stood out. He was without a doubt the best player on the Bucks team tonight."

Meeks, who left Kentucky after his junior season and was drafted 41st by the Bucks, showed that he belongs at the NBA level in his first professional game. He was 6-9 from the field and scored 14 points to lead the Bucks. Meeks was 1-1 from long range and added 2 rebounds and a steal in the game. He clearly stood out as one of the better players on the court tonight.

The game lacked offensive flow and featured both teams combining for 55 fouls, 46 turnovers and 44-113 field goal shooting. The Bucks won the ugly affair by a score of 65-59.

Former Louisville Cardinal Juan Palacios did not score in 10 minutes of action.

My Thoughts: Meeks looked great tonight. It is amazing that he was able to do anything in the same lineup with Joe Alexander and Brandon Jennings. The two combined for 7-30 shooting and destroyed Milwaukee's offensive flow.

My internet wasn't good enough to watch the game unfortunately, but that sucks that Jennings didn't do too well. I hope he can turn it around.

It's too early to form an opinion, but Jennings appears to be very much a "me first" PG - not a good sign.

Agreed, he seems to fit into the mold of Starbury, a point guard that will try like hell to lead the league in scoring and be last in the league in assists among Point Guards. I like him though, I just think he's a "cool" player to watch, but there's time for him yet, he may develop into a solid all-around point guard.

:laugh::laugh::laugh:. WHAT?

My bad, that is actually tomorrow night when Meeks plays again. Sorry about that.

Stephen Curry went for 29 points in the game tonight; Tyreke Evans scored 25

Agreed. I think he would be better off with the And-1 mix tape tour. I think he just wants to make the fancy play and get the crowd cheering. I think he is a cross between a poor man's Chauncey Billups and a young Marbury.
