June 14, 200917 yr Entertaining night of fights; you picked a good PPV for your first, Domer! Franklin-Silva was a nice fight. I think Silva is done as a contender; he is like Chuck in my eyes. It was nice to see Velasquez win. I like him and Carwin as conteders in the Heavyweight division. Hey HB, I'm all over Overeem as well now; I have watched some fights of his this weekend and I like his ability to stuff takedowns and his ko power. These guys are for real and with guys like Fedor, Josh Barnett, Brock, Mirr, Big Nog and Couture still doing their thing, this division is a very interesting one. Cro Cop looked like a shell of himself, even in victory. Swick's KO was nice. Surprised that Uno didn't win the fight with Fisher. I thought Davis would win as well, that was a nice fight! Unfortunately I agree. I think both could beat the Champ, however they'd likely lose atleast one of their next 2 fights following that victory.
