Find the right college?

I believe that answer should depend on what it is that you're going to school for.

I think it all depends on what you are looking for. Size, proximity of home, cost, extra curricular, strength of major etc.

I had a full ride anywhere. I planned on going to UK. I was a little worried leaving a really small town into a school that big that I would be taking too big of a step. I decided to go to Morehead a year then transfer. I got to Morehead.... made a great group of friends fast and loved the student to teacher ratio. I felt like it was easy to get to know most of the teachers and I enjoyed what I was doing. We still went to the UK football games etc. I ended up never leaving there. I've known several people that left UK because the classes had 150+ to 1 teacher student where Morehead was more like 20-1.

I've had friends go to Centre, Georgetown, Eastern, Western, UK, UofL, Transy, Marshall, OSU etc and all loved their experience. IMO they are all really good schools. It's all about the experience each individual is looking for IMO.

I dont believe it can be explained better than this!
