All In Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Was today games rained out or what? Have not read one thing anywhere about them. Thanks.
mcraycraft Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Tuesday games were rained out. Rescheduled for today.
All Blue Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Still don't know how this got rained out, someone said they had a tarp that covered the whole infield.
jahearme Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Still don't know how this got rained out, someone said they had a tarp that covered the whole infield. If you lived in Mt. Sterling, you would understand why it was cancelled. It rained about an inch in less than 10 minutes at my house!
lexkyfan Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 I was at the field to watch the games Montgomery does have a tarp, it rained at least an Inch and a half in minutes. This flooded the outfield there are three players who have to play out there as well. It was a good decision to reschedule the games. No one wants these girls to play with a disadvantage after all the hard work they have put in this season!!!

This is true, but also graduation ceremonies will start Thursday for some, so its another hard choice for them to make.
mcraycraft Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Montgomery County does not have graduation until June 5th.
mcraycraft Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Unless things change, I do not know if we will play tonight either. It is raining right now (1:45 pm)
theotis44 Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Unless things change, I do not know if we will play tonight either. It is raining right now (1:45 pm) Just looking at radar, a strong line of storms look to be heading towards Central Ky which again might put todays games in doubt. These line of storms look as if they could put down lots of rain in a short time otr similar to yesterday in Montgomery Co. Tomorrows forecast right now gives even a better chance of rain. Not good!!:irked:
