May 24, 200917 yr I have taken a job in Fort Myers Florida. My wife and I are going, while our son finishes up his two years at UK. It's pretty exciting, yet a little scary as well. We have been in Ky. our whole lives and the closer it gets to leaving, the more I wonder if it's the right thing to do. It is a promotion and I feel like we may not get this opportunity again. We went down a couple weeks ago to look for a place to live and did find a couple places. Looks like we may rent at first and may buy later. I still have to sell our place here, and that's what has be worried. Putting house on the market this week, so if anyones looking? I was telling my wife, just when things at UK our looking better, now were up and moving.:irked: Anyway, if anyone has any experience in the big move, I would love to hear your experience. I am in Sanibel Island right now which is just across the bridge from Ft.Myers. It is my favorite area of Florida. You are going to love it.
May 24, 200917 yr I am going to be moving away as well in less than three weeks. And you better believe that BGP is going to be my lifeline to KY.

May 24, 200917 yr I made the move from Cinti to Ft. Worth Texas. It was a great move for my wife and I. We rented the first two years here and are in the process of buying a home now. Everything I know about Florida is that it is a great place to be. The weather is much better. Plus you have pro sports teams all around. Use good movers. The one regret I had was that our movers damaged some of our property. That stunk. Otherwise, I wish you good luck; I'm sure you will enjoy Florida!
May 25, 200917 yr Author We visit the area often. I have a sister that works there. Wife will be looking for work, if sis has any connections.:thumb:
