gold sunrise Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 If history repeats itself, it will be a team from the 40th district....GRC or Montgomery Co.
Randy Parker Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 The heart says Bracken. The head says Montgomery.
mcpapa Posted May 22, 2009 Author Posted May 22, 2009 The heart says Bracken. The head says Montgomery. Bracken would be a feel-good story. They are far and away the class of a very weak 39th district, but I think there are just too many quality teams in the 10th for them to run the table.
Randy Parker Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 Bracken would be a feel-good story. They are far and away the class of a very weak 39th district, but I think there are just too many quality teams in the 10th for them to run the table. Avoiding a 1st round clash with Clark County again would provide some help. They've beaten Clark, Brossart, Nicholas, & Scott twice. They've played to within a single run of Harrison & it took Montgomery 10 innings to beat them earlier in the year (in addition to a 4-1 loss to MC). Certainly not impossible for them to win it, but difficult for sure. Same is true with Harrison or Brossart. I think Montgomery has to be the favorite.
Big Daddy Bear Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Montgomery is the benchmark till someone knocks them off. I sure like Bracken's chances this year. This is as wide open as the 10th has been in several years. and I think Harrison is the team I'd least like to face. Should be some great softball for any fan !

Think the BC ladies might be realizing that they are really good, think they will short game the Bluejackets and take care of the Cardinals and Indians in barn burners
lexkyfan Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Cardinals and Indians my pick over all is Montgomery Co. They were focused for the district and ready for the region!!!!
kysportsfan4life Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 It was postponed for awhile due to rain, but they finished the first game with Clark beating Brossart 5-0. The rest of the games for today, weather permitting, should be finished tonight.
