My thoughts - the far superior team won easily as expected. Congrats to Cooper on getting some wins in their first season. They will be good soon enough. Conner can make some noise in the postseason even though I think they have a losing record entering the tourney.

West pitches 5 shuout innings for the Cougars. Pugh hits 2 bombs, one back to back with Shuttleworth. Congrats to the Cougars!!

I'd say Cooper had a successful season. Congrats to Biegs and the boys.

As a Cooper follower, I was pleased with this first season. After watching the football and basketball seasons, I was a little worried about the baseball team being constantly pounded game in and game out. The boys, I believe, won 7 games and were "in" many others. The district game against Conner featured three 8th graders in the starting line-up. The core group at the top of the line-up were mostly sophomores so there is hope for continued improvement next year. Great year Jags. :thumb:
