Cooper 13 Heritage 3

Final in 5 innings. First round 33rd district tournament. Ryan Thompson pitches complete game giving Cooper first ever district win.

Does Cooper have anyone that can pitch tomorrow to give Conner any type of game? Congrats to the Jags for the win. Looks like the magic from last year did not carry forward for Heritage.

No.that ended when there ace John Schroer tore his acl 2 weeks ago.....Big 2 out error on easy pop that shortstop missed for Heritage that would have ended the 3rd inning at 4-3 that put 5 more on the board, it was all over after that. As always, walks killed this team...

Cooper, to put it mildly, will be big underdogs today. There is no one on their roster that would normally shut down Conner. Having said that, baseball is a funny game at times. You play the game, hope the oposition hits it to you, limit the errors and walks, and hope for the best.:thumb:
