April 22, 200917 yr College basketball (not universally, but much of it - including Big East and Big 10) now reminds me of NBA basketball a few years ago; some of those excruciating Knicks/Heat/Pistons games come to mind.
April 22, 200917 yr The skills of the players are amazing. I have always been a bigger college fan, but once the playoffs roll around I'm hooked on the NBA. I know that every night the best palyers in the world are giving supreme effort.
April 22, 200917 yr The combination of their skill level, making it look so easy, and a long season forcing teams to pace themselves, creates a lot of ho-hum games during the season. I generally like to watch the big regular season games and certain teams with players I like (Lakers, Cavs, etc.). The playoffs are definitely fun. Personally, I don't get all the criticism of the NBA for its regular season. College isn't that much different. The tournament is much better than the season there as well. It's pretty much the same reason I like the NFL better than college. When I watch a sport, I like to watch it at its highest level.
