We all witnessed what happens when oil supply becomes tight, 4.00 gas. Saudi Arabia has had us by the barrel for a long time and its not ending anytime soon. Call it what you want, or think what you want about them, they are the in-laws you gotta smile at when you see.

If you've already made your determination, why even post a poll?

If I expected me to be the only voter, I would not post the poll.

WH says he did not bow.

Was curious if BGP agreed with the WH or not.

Oh well. Bush was filmed and photographed walking hand-in-hand with him like the two were a middle school couple.

Yeah, I remember the comments of man-crush and the like. That was uncomfortable. Of course, W didn't deny it and create some story saying he didn't do it like O is doing.

LBBC mentions that the White House saying that it is not a bow is a flat out lie. What is there to debate? Anyone that would be disagreeing would be, in LBBC's opinion, lying. It's a baited question.

Wow you guys have gotten sensitive with your own guy in the WH.

Do you think he was bowing or not? Simple question.

Do you agree with the WH that he was not bowing but was instead reaching to give a two-handed handshake even though the video clearly shows that his 2nd hand came up after he stood back up.

Who is that guy???

Only the richest guy in Italy, and incidentally, their Prime Minister. He's the one who called Obama "tan" during the election season. It caused quite a stir.

Who's being sensitive? I see nothing to debate. You certainly have your mind made up on the issue.

I didn't mind when Pres. Bush (notice that I used his title, not a letter to represent his name) held hands with the Saudi king...I understood it to be a Saudi custom, though it was a little strange for it to be done in Texas. I also didn't mind when Pres. Bush put his hands on the shoulders of the German chancellor. Neither was really worth much of a comment, though certain people felt the need to put more into each incident that there was.

Here's the question that maybe we should debate - What does it matter whether it is a bow or a position for a handshake? What it is, is less important, obviously, than what it is perceived to be. If it is a bow, does this mean that anything will be different now than it was the day before he did it?

No filter there between thoughts and mouth.

Considering the number of people in this forum who lament the concept of "political correctness", I would think that many would find him refreshing.

I sorta do on some things. The suntan comment, the sexual innuendo and disrespect to the lady in the video, though are too much.

So, in a debate, I am not allowed to have an opinion????

I heard or read a comment somewhere today that seemed to hit the nail on the head.

Has any country's leader ever been so eager and excited about seeing the demise of his country from a world leader to just another one of the countries?

It would be understandable for other countries to talk about the demise of the USA but the talk of our demise is being heralded by our own President.

Interesting.
