April 11, 200917 yr Comments concerning Porter have sure changed . I've always felt bad for him with all the negative comments he received when he was playing.Since he's leaving ,people are trying to make it up by making nice comments. I think he's a class act and didn't deserve all that criticism. Add me in with one of the ones who was too critical of him. Too often, we as fans forget that these are just kids and it is just sports and we don't think about what we write or say. Porter's only crime was that he didn't play as well as we hoped he would have. He still played hard and never gave us anything negative to say about his personal life. He will be missed as he was an upperclassman that the youngsters could look up to off the court.
