April 15, 200917 yr A.J. Burnett had a no hitter broken up in the 7th inning tonight vs. the Rays. Burnett ended up with 8 IP, BB, 9 K's, 2 R, 2 ER in the Yankees 7-2 win. Jeter went 3-5 with a HR and 3 rbi's, Swisher remained hot going 2-4 and a HR (his 4th).
April 15, 200917 yr Middle relief is killing us again for the third straight year. :irked: :idunno: :thumb: That's why I would really like to see Chamberlin in the pen, he could come in as the set up man for "lights out" Rivera and you would have a 6 to 7 inning game on alot of nights. JMO.
April 15, 200917 yr Burnette has been great if he can stay healthy and that's a big if. I agree on Jobo as the setup man until Rivera retires. You better win early if that happens! I think Petitt is washup up. CC+ Burnette look good. Wang? Worry about him too. They are short on starters. The BoSox have about 30 of them lol. I really like this young Rays team too. Longoria and Upton are fun to watch!
