What does 6A look like for 2009? What teams are going to be up? What teams are going to be down? What team may surprise some people?

With Bryan Station moving up, could they give the big 2 a run for their money? BS looked very good against Highlands in the playoffs last year and I think they have some returning players that are pretty good.

The question against the big boys is depth. Talent is all well and good, but Trinity and St.X can platoon against you and wear you down. Does BS have much depth?

BS had over 65 for spring ball with no 2 way players, straight platoon with quality backups. They lose 7 contributors off last year's team that had only 1 2 way guy, Philon. They have the talent and depth to break the Lexington drought.

I would love to see Station make a run. It would be great for football in Kentucky.

This is what Bryan Station has to do to compete for a State Championship in 6A. If they can put together 11 solid offensive players and 11 solid defensive players, with some subs that don't cause a drop off, then they can run with the big dogs.

Funny thing is it was station that made the last run back in 99. I hope they do as well, I would love to be talking about three or four teams at the end of the season come playoff time that had a good chance it would really be good for 6A.
