I do not know that much about either team except Shelby Valley beat them earlier in the year. I watched Elliott County's highlights from their last game, and boy they can shoot the ball!

I don't believe that SV will let Elliott shoot like they did yesterday. Their defense will be much better than Anderson. I'm not sure why some Elliott fans don't respect SV when they whipped them in the earlier game but hopefully the players don't have the same outlook that this will be an easy game.

That being said I think that Elliott will get their revenge in this game and pull out the win and advance because the players and coaches will respect how good this SV team can be. Should be a dandy game though.

Has there ever been a better Friday night session than these two games tonight in Rupp? Four titans battling it out just to face another tomorrow! This lower bracket was incredible. Whoever comes out of this side would be as deserving a state champion as we've ever had!

I dont know about SOME Elliott fans, but most of us think SV is a great team. As far as SV "whipping," us, I dont qualify a 3 point victory as a whipping. It was a loss and we reconize that. However, I think EC has a much better team then they did Feb 1. You are right, this should be a dandy of a game, and I dont believe our players will take this game lightly. They are really wanting SV again and I think they will give SV all they have. If SV wins they will have fairly beaten a very determined EC. And I am not trying to attack you or anything, I see where you come from when you make your points. However I dont think the majority of fans overlook SV. But like you I hope EC gets their revenge, and survives tonight. Either way it will be a great game. IMO this is the most anticipated game of the tourny so far. (I might be a little biased on that because I am an Elliott fan) :thumb:a
