Ram Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 What does Beth Haven need to do to improve in 2009? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.
MSU-70 Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 What is going with this program? I saw were they won 3 games. Are they a program that will continue to struggle or are they trying to turn things around there?
Jim Schue Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 What is going with this program? I saw were they won 3 games. Are they a program that will continue to struggle or are they trying to turn things around there? Looks like neither. The C-J reported Monday the school is dropping football altogether. Have they experienced a major enrollment decline?
gchs_uk9 Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 I thought this might be the case. The only game scheduled on the KHSAA website showed them playing at Casey County, but Casey County was hosting Caverna on the same night. It's sad to see football drop at Beth Haven. They had some success at the 8-man level and even made the Class 1A playoffs in 2007. Unfortunately they haven't been able to sustain it.
oldonetechnique Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 I believe their coach from last year is helping at Henry County.
AIRVES Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 Looks like neither. The C-J reported Monday the school is dropping football altogether. Have they experienced a major enrollment decline? Their enrollment last year was about 100; they are only expecting roughly half of that next fall. 16 kids signed up to play for next season.
