March 18, 200917 yr Most sickening as a UK fan, UAB. Nuff said.:puke: Which year? 2004? What about 1981 when UAB beat Kentucky in the first round. UK then lost in the first round the next season against Middle Tennessee State. All of this delayed the dream game by about three years.

NC State followed that with a 1 point victory over UNLV. Nineteen point win over Utah in the Sweet 16 and then another 1 point win over Virginia to make it to the Final Four. The national semifinal win was by 7 over Georgia.
