Where is the Clark Co faithful? I thought they would be complaining about this. I also thought the Lexington schools would like how I moved some teams around. No comments or suggestions?

I try not to complain, enough of that from others in our region. I try to be positive. If they move GRC to the 11th I will miss being in the 40th district and our great rivalry with Montgomery Co. Also will miss the other teams and coaches in the 10th region. I think our region is special and would miss not being a part of it.

 

I am sure we would develop new rivals and make new friendships. What ever region GRC plays in, our boys will play the game and leave it all on the court.

The 45th district redistricting wouldn't work without Lincoln, or someone in Lincoln's spot. No one plays KSD during the regular season so we would end up with a 3 team district. I guess you either moved Rockcastle County to a different region or left them off by accident. We would need 17 teams in the region for this to work though.

I know that they played in the district tournament last year so that is why I only have 4 teams in that district. I had dropped Lincoln to the 47th? You could move Woodford to the 12th. Or you could move Woodford to the 8th with the Franklin Co schools and drop Anderson to the 12th. I believe Anderson Co was in the 12th until the late 1960's.

The team that finishes 4th in the 45th district will play KSD in a "play in" type of game that precludes the district tournament, but there are no home and home district games with KSD.

45th should be Boyle, Mercer, Burgin, Danville, KSD

 

46th should be East Jessamine, West Jessamine, Garrard County, Lincoln County

Clinton and Russell are going to the 12th, in with Monticello and Wayne. Or Russell is going into the Casey district and McCreary Central stays. I look for East and West to be shipped back out but I don't know about that part...just heard the other pretty straight.
