March 11, 200917 yr  :sssh: :thumb: In response to that, I've long found it amusing down here in Tar Heel land that so many of their fans claim 5 National Titles. Even the official places for UNC such as AD and the banners from the rafters and the hats all list 5 titles claiming the 1924 Helms Foundation honor as a National Crown. When I approached a die-hard UNC fan about this he said, "Well, it is a National Title because they awarded it to us and we were the best in the land." After that I stated, "If that's the way you want to play it then UK has 9 titles because they have 2 from Helms Foundation as well." He dropped it after that.
