I could see these teams not playing each other next year unless they draw each other in all A or district. They could probably play in Minerva gym ,just fight off the pigeons & hope it don`t rain or snow.lol

MInerva's gym is probably bigger than St.Patrick's even now.

Bracken puts on a very nice tournament. But, they do need to limit the local teams they invite. Most of them already play home and home in the regular season. I do like the sounds of making it a 10 vs 16 type tournament.

Only because of the natural sunroof that was made in it.No it wasn`t bigger.

Last time I went, they had a hospitality room which is more than we can say for other (cough, 39th District) tournaments (cough, 10th Region).

Bracken County is offended by the Saints Coach because, he is a Bracken County boy that the Polarbears should have locked up when he was there!!!!!!

Great,great decision. Would have said the same if Bracken had went 6-0 against them. Absurd to play the same team more than 3 times in a season if it can be prevented and if means not playing in same tournaments, so be it. Great decision by the AD. Now lets make the X-mas tourney a 10th vs. 16th region set up and we're rolling.:popcorn:

Schedule each other once a year(home one year,away the next), only play in All A tourney(maybe) and district tournament(maybe) and you just play 3 times. Would think Coach Hinson would be pushing for this as much as anyone, who would want other coaches and media to say well St.Patrick won this many games, but heck five of then were against :eek: Bracken County

This year was kind of a perfect storm in that those two teams met in every way possible.

 

That being said, teams like Deming passed on the BC tourney for Lloyd Memorial for the fact that they played those same teams too many times already.

 

Basically, what I'm saying is that it's cool either way. It is what it is.

 

I heard that the only reason Deming passed on the BC Tourney is because they were never asked to play. Bracken's AD would not return Deming's phone calls.That's sad.:cry:

If I'm St. Pat I wouldn't sweat it, Bracken Athletics is in shambles.

Is their AD Coach Hinson? You've basically got to stay out of the same tournaments,except for All A. Anyway to prevent playing more than 3 times in a season. What's wrong with scheduling Williamstown home and away or Pendleton home and away or lexington Sayre, Bath County,Montgomery,etc. Teams you have no shot at playing more than 2 times.
