Boone County / Newport Central Catholic 9th Region Championship

Any thoughts on this matchup ?

I really hope the refs let them play.......could be a good hard nosed defensive battle but based on what I saw tonight they won't be able to belly up and deny, deny, deny. If the game is called tight then I give the nod to Boone.

Nice to meet you tonight KyTMCNcc.

Rule 13

I watched both games tonight. Too many cheap fouls called.

If they let them play a little I like NCC in a close game.

Will be very close. No idea who wins but pulling for the Rebs. Two very good coaches plus good teams.

This sounds simplistic, but if Boone shoots the 3 well they win, if they don't they loose. Everything else pretty much balances out.

My dad always said that there are two things you can never change in a contest.."the conditions of the field of play and the officials." Both teams are can only adjust to each other.

I will say congrats to Boone! At one time Sandlin-Davis-Setters (BCS), Wainscott-Brown (SK) started AAU together and you could see then that they would all rise to the ocassion at the HS level!

Just wish I could be in several places at one time tonight!

I'll go on a limb and say Lady Rebs (BOK) and Lady Pioneers (S.OLDHAM) in VERY close games!!!!
