It was a big win for Perry Central who played a great game. With Maggard as the big horse taking MVP honor's to Josh Salyers coming off the bench in place of the injured D. Amis to hit 2 big free throws in the fourth to tie the game and then Chris Noble with a big 3 at he end of the game to put PCC up by one with Maggard hitting 2 big free throws to seal the game moments later.:thumb:

That is the way he likes it. I would say he has a good record when the game is low scoring.

What type of defense did PCC play to keep Whitaker from driving and dishing. He is one of the best at getting inside the lane and kicking to someone open.

Hazard shot 32% for the game and 63% the 3rd quarter. So that tells you how bad they shot the ball the other 3 quarters. Missed alot of easy shots early and missed some open 3's down the stretch.

Hazard did shot poorly but I was there and the defense was really put on Hazard. PCC came out to play and didn't play scared. As far as Whitker, Noble held him scoreless in the first half and was in his face the whole night.:thumb:

As I said in the prediction thread, although Perry took this game, Hazard will win the 14th.

This will put Hazard and Perry on opposite sides of the bracket for the 14th. Which could set up a championship game.
