I don't think there was a better player in Northern Kentucky his senior year in any division. It's great to see him having success at the college level. Great going, Corey!

Corey Pelle was a player that can only be described by superlatives. Whenever he played, he was always the best player on the floor.

 

He received a standing ovation when named to the 37th District All-District Tournament team his senior year - and his team wasn't playing!!!

 

I understand NKU's hesitancy to recruit him, and am glad that he has found a home at West Liberty, W.Va., where he can showcase his talents and contribute to the success of their program.

 

When he signed with the Hilltoppers, I went to their website and sent their coach an E/Mail. It started out. "I think that this is your lucky day," and it has proven out that it was certainly just that.

 

Corey is an amazing player, whose name will always surface when the best of the best players ever to come out of Northern Kentucky is discussed.

It was just announced that Corey was named to the WVIAC 2nd team. He was a member of the all frosh team last year. Congrats to Corey! I am sure all the Grovers are very proud of you.
