Finals are set in 34th district, St. Henry vs. Dixie

St Henry dominated this game in every aspect. Bryan wasn't much of a factor. Most of his points came when the game got out of hand. St. Henry led by at least 30 at one time. Keep up the great work Cru and take care of business on Friday night and get yourself ANOTHER district championship. This time the 34th.

I don't know if it was "one of the dirtiest" but it wasn't a clean hustle play. It did seem that there was intent to do more than get the ball back. I think a lot of frustration came out of Bryan on this play due to someone defending him finally.

Are you kidding me? Look closely at the picture, his hand is up signaling he isn't doing anything. It's kind of hard to intentionally choke someone when your arm is fully extended. Also I'm sure if there was any dirty plays one of the three refs would have spotted it, they were watching Bryan closely all night. They weren't going to let him get away with anything for sure.

The only thing he may have been guilty of was holding the St Henry player down on the ground when he wanted to get up. Never a choke. Three refs surrounded this play.

I still agree with NKYBoy, it may have seemed like he went for the ball, but I personally got a choke out of the play. Just how I saw it though.

Obviously from the picture you can see no choke, his hand is up and his arm is extended. But whats new with him being shocked from a call, he does need to calm down his emotions on the court. Overall it was close after the first, but St. Henry wasn't going to be denied tonight, they showed alot of talent from off the bench. Bryan ended up with 26, but like stated it wasn't against the starters.

 

As far as the choke comment being "the dirtiest play in HS basketball", that has to be the most biased statement I've heard.

I wasn't trying to be biased (I did exagerate), but I thought he tried to get his anger out with the choke. To me that's pretty dirty.
