There was no fire fight. There was no IED that killed these innocent people. Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood. And that's what the report is going to tell." John Murtha, May 18, 2006 The Marines accused of the incident filed suit against Murtha. The Court of Appeals ruled that Murtha had immunity and could not be sued. There's a word for this that is a synonym for cow patty.
July 1, 200917 yr Ex-Marine who trashed the troops. There are also some serious ethical/legal issues surrounding some of his financial dealings with campaign contributors. P.S. A long time ago he barely escaped getting caught up in the ABSCAM investigation.
