February 9, 200917 yr Tell me someone who didn't think Adam Morrison was going to be a monster.Me. Adam Morrison, like JJ Redick the same season, were going to be huge gambles. All draft picks are gambles, but Morrison struggling in the NBA is not a big shock.
February 9, 200917 yr I thought strongly that Morrison and Redick would struggle in the pros unless they found a perfect fit on a team. Neither has found it yet but I think this will be a good move for Morrison.
February 10, 200917 yr Played NBA live today with the lakers and the roster was updated and Morrison fit in quite nicely and had around 10 pts and 4 or 5 rebounds. I know it doesnt mean he'll do good in real life but I see him fitting this type of system nicely and benefiting from it.
February 13, 200917 yr Phil Jackson utilizes role players better than anyone in basketball. Think about all the Chicago teams, and even the Kobe/Shaq Lakers. Phil always has a couple superstars, but surrounds them with solid role players who know how to fit in and perform a job in his system. Morrison is definatly a role player in the league, so he should start improving his stock. The Lakers have a lot of players to grab attention, something the Bobcats certainly didnt have.
