B-Ball-fan Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 2009 BOYS’ ALL TOURNAMENT TEAM Devan Adams - Shelby Valley Damien Edelen - Bardstown Ethan Faulkner - Elliott County Evan Faulkner - Elliott County Jonathan Ferguson - Elliott County Ashley Hatfield - Shelby Valley Jordan Hickman - Bardstown Corey Martin - Hazard Taylor Newsome - Shelby Valley Demarco Phillips - Bardstown Cody Rich - Edmonson County James David - Strange Pineville Most Valuable Player: Elisha Justice - Shelby Valley
B-Ball-fan Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 A 27 point performace off the bench for Jeramie Connor of Newport Central Catholic against Danville and 9 off the bench in the loss against Shelby Valley was not enough to get him on the list. :idunno:

I guess they looked at his single digit performance on Saturday. Very nice player.
Eta Rho Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Congrats to all honored on the All tournament team.
Theoldman12 Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Nothing against the three mentioned from Elliot County as I realize they are all nice players but how do they get just as many all tournament players as Bardstown who went a round farther and two more then any other team? Once again nothing against them, but I thought it usually worked where a designated amount of people from each team that makes it so far gets that amount of people on the all touney team.

Top players from each team were in a list, those who voted circled as many players as they wanted, there were also spaces for write in votes.

O I see I didn't know. What I have seen in the past is however far you go depends on how many players you get in, but thank you. :thumb:
dano2407 Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Corey Martin? I question that for sure. I think if anybody from Hazard it should have been Robert Warren. But hey congrats to Corey Martin though. And I am sure some of them losing teams that got beat in the first round or the second that did not have any on there had at least one good player that deserved to be on there.
