With the weather forcing cancellations/postponements virtually everywhere, will games resume this week according to schedule? Many places around the state are still without power or are still burdened by snow and/or ice, so what is the likelihood of games taking place at your school or in your area?

There are several gyms in western Kentucky that are being used as shelters. I'd say it would be iffy here at best.

Northern Kentucky should be back on schedule. The problem now becomes rescheduling the games cancelled and getting them in over the next three weeks leading up to district play. I know there are teams who will have some 4 game weeks to get them in.

Lady Saints have varsity games scheduled for Mon (2nd) Wed, Thur, Sat with freshman tourney fri and sun (our JV is our freshman and 8th graders minus 1 sophmore) so a very busy week for us.

I think a much more important question for some parts of the Commonwealth is when will school resume?

I believe the Carroll - South Oldham game is on for tonight.

I don't think so. A team cancelled on us last year due to playing in a tournament and forgot about the rule. I'm sure 100 people on here will know for sure. If it is a rule...will the KHSAA make an exception due to all off the cancellations? who knows.

Only rule on that is schools cannot schedule 4 straight days on Mon.-Thurs., they must take 1 of these off.
