Water Boy Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Who is favored to win this big district game?
Larry Bud Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Boone Co. matches up well against Conner. They have the quickness to match up with Long from Conner. Conner will begin to miss Devin Beasley more and more especially against teams that can apply consistant pressure. This will be a great game. It will be interesting to see how the days off with no practice will affect the teams.
bjim Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 I think Boone will win by 10. Things don't get any easier for Conner having to play Highlands the next day.
110764 Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Boone by a bunch. Are people selling Connor a little short here. Boone may well win, but by a bunch?
Crunch-time Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 This one is going to be tough to reschedule given the remaining schedules of both teams. And no way by a bunch...expect a battle till the end.
IBALL Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Who is favored to win this big district game? I think these teams are very similar and they match up well with each other. Below are my RTB’s (reasons to believe): • Both teams are led by experienced senior guards. • Bradley for Boone and Long for Conner make things happen on the court for their teams. • Both of these players are clutch in the 4th Qtr. • They both make their teammates better. • Bradley and Long have been playing as teammates or as competitors since they were 11. • They are both winners and they make each other better. • Both teams have young players that are improving each game. • Finally, these teams are long time rivals and usually those are at least good competitive games. Conner by 3, but I’m prejudiced.:thumb:
Water Boy Posted January 31, 2009 Author Posted January 31, 2009 I agree with that, being such an important district game these teams will come out swinging, making it a battle until the final minute.
