Congrats to the Braves. Way to bounce back from losing two straight. I thought that the Braves passed the ball well and played team ball. Keep it up!!!!

Wow...upset in the 8th?

I don't know about an upset. Grant is 13-6. I would say that Grant had to prove they could beat Shelby, so maybe a mild upset. Shelby has a nice team! But it was nice to see Grant bounce back from consecutive bad games against Simon Kenton and Owen.

Great win by the braves. The team played together tonight, good defense and should have won big if we hit the free throws. Nevertheless, the braves should be proud to beat a team like Shelby, they have a nice team. They also moved the ball well tonight, they saw the floor well and hit the gaps of the defense. Still good be a little more patient especially when we have a nice lead. Keep it up, another big game on Friday at Oldham, go back to work and get ready.

Good to see the Braves post a win after their past two games. Hopefully, this is a sign of things to come down the stretch. Shelby is not the dominant team they've been in the past, but still a nice win.

Not a tremendous surprise. I've seen both teams...Shelby is more athletic and has great size...but Grant is more experienced and mature as a team, and it shows in their play vs. Shelby. Shelby's youth is currently their main problem...but they could be VERY dangerous come tournament time, which is still a month away. Next year, the Rockets will probably be one of the favorites again, after that youth matures...

Congrats to the Braves! This may not be your father's Shelby County team, but it's still a very good win...and it gives the Braves some confidence...when was the last Grant County win over Shelby County?

...when was the last Grant County win over Shelby County?

I think it was back in 2000-2001. Grant won at home early in the year, and then got thumped by the Rockets later in the year. Since then...nothing.

Either way, should give them some confidence should they meet again down in Henry County.
