Rose Hill 65 Boyd County 47

If your only measure of success is regional championships then most everyone is a failure. Wanting to win is important but there are other measures of success.

Good Point Newman,

I personally am not willing to say each year only 1 team out of 16 is a success:thumb:

Ashland scored 110 on the same BC team.Who has RH beat this year?

That was impressive scoring that much. BUT your defense let a less talented team hang 84 on them.

How did they give up 84 to Boyd? For the record Boyd has not scored over 70 points in any other game this season.

I thought both teams competed well last night. Boyd seemed to finally get into their game for a few minutes in the 4th quarter. Only problem was that everytime they closed the gap a little Rose Hill would exploit their mismatches inside for several easy buckets in a row to push the lead back out. It seemed like Gregg never missed a shot around the basket the whole night.

With both of these teams breaking in new coaches you're going to see some inconsistancy through the season, but you'll see more of what these two teams will be later in the season.

Seemed to me that Coach Biggs had his JV in the game quite a bit in the 1st half and again in the second half. I don't have the exact minutes but having been at the game I can tell you that JV's playing time was significant. Therefore, I would assume the score could have been somewhat different if the varsity had played all but the last minute and something.

Why do you think that happens.

Do not have a clue but I will say that Scott Gambill (i believe) is the only kid that has been there since K3 and started playing in grade school and will finish there. Not many on the team can say this. Very proud of him for sticking with the program.

RH 65 + BC 47 = 112 scoring together : Ashland 110 vs BC :sssh:

Just pointing out that Boyd has scored over 70 points one time all year and it was against Ashland. Zonebuster failed to state both sides. I think its great that Ashland scored alot of points.

If the JV played that much then surely they scored quite a few of the 110 points. Either way the whole discussioon is not relevant unless someone is just trying to stir up trouble.

Like smokeandmirrors stated this is a thread about the Rose Hill vs. Boyd Co. game unfortunately it was hijacked.

Nice to see things heating up again between the Tomcats and Royals.

Yet another thread that has reached it's end because we can't stay on track. Feel free to open another one on the other junk.
